Why I Care for the Elderly: A Story That Began at Home
There is a moment in life when caregiving stops being something you understand and becomes something you live . For me, that moment came as I and my sisters cared for our mother. As her health declined and cancer slowly took hold, our family faced the same reality so many families do—how do we care for someone we love deeply without taking away their dignity, independence, and sense of self? The Gift of Home Care My mother was blessed to have a home health caregiver. That ca

Turning Plastic into Purpose
At The Angel Projects Uganda , our Nutrition Project is growing hope in the most beautiful way—through a plastic bottle greenhouse built with creativity, sustainability, and love. By recycling plastic bottles, we’ve created a protected space to grow nutritious vegetables that support our elderly, children, and families year-round. This greenhouse not only provides food, but also teaches environmental responsibility, self-reliance, and innovation within the community.

Saturday at The Angel Projects Guest House was Full of Purpose
Our sponsored children spent their Saturday giving back—working side by side in the garden and greenhouse at The Angel Projects of Uganda . They planted, weeded, watered, and cared for crops that help feed our elderly and support our community programs. This is one of the most important lessons we teach: You are supported—and you are also called to serve . Watching these children learn responsibility, teamwork, and compassion reminds us that sponsorship is about so much

When God Asked Me to Stay Still — and the Mission Moved Forward
For the past few months, I haven’t traveled. For someone whose heart and hands are often thousands of miles apart, that absence of movement felt unsettling at first. I’m used to showing up physically—walking dusty roads, sitting face-to-face with our team, holding hands, listening, praying together. For me, travel has always felt deeply connected to how I serve through The Angel Projects of America. But this season was different. Instead of boarding planes, God asked me to st

Nutrition Project Update and Other Projects
Happy Tuesday, Everyone! It may be Tech Day today, but Mondays at TAPU are all about Nutrition Day ! This is when our team comes together to plant, weed, and lovingly care for our greenhouse and garden. We are currently growing green peppers, spinach, carrots and tomatoes—nutritious staples that add both flavor and health to meals. These vegetables are often expensive and difficult for our elderly to grow themselves, so being able to provide them is a huge blessing. We’
