Friday in Rubuguri Equals Market Day, Elderly Visits, and CLEAN UP DAY!
Friday was a busy one here in our little corner of Uganda! Not only was it Market Day and our scheduled day to visit our elderly neighbors, but we decided it was time for a BIG CLEAN UP!
And when I say clean up, I mean EVERY bin, EVERY box, and EVERY corner of our storage room!

Sorting, cleaning, tossing, and categorizing were the words of the day! We went through all the wonderful donations and educational materials we've received over time, organizing supplies for our various programs and discovering a few things we'd forgotten we even had!
But one of the best parts of the day was putting together an entire bin of medical supplies for a small local clinic just up the road.
This little clinic does wonderful work caring for people in our community, but because it is not government-owned, it relies heavily on donations to keep its shelves stocked and provide much-needed care.

Thanks to the generosity of so many of YOU, we are able to share these supplies with people who truly need them!
Our last medical supply donation went to THE RUSHAGA BATWA INDIGENOUS EMPOWERMENT ORGANISATION, where a traveling nurse makes frequent trips to provide care to the Indigenous Batwa people living near Bwindi, many of whom have difficulty reaching the Health Center in town. The work they do is so important, and we are always grateful when we can lend a helping hand.
And that's what I love most about this mission. Sometimes helping others isn't about starting another big project or raising thousands of dollars. Sometimes it's simply opening a storage bin, recognizing a need, and sharing what we've been blessed to receive.
To everyone who has donated supplies, packed a suitcase, sent a package, or supported our work in any way… THANK YOU!

Your kindness doesn't just stop with The Angel Projects. It continues right down the road, into our neighboring villages, and into the hands of people who need it most.
Giving a Hand Up, Not a Handout.
