Elderly Care Update: Yudes

Gard visiting Yudes
Gard visiting Yudes

We are happy to share that Yudes is getting stronger each day. While she is aging and doctors can do little more medically, our love, care, and daily support continue to bring her comfort and dignity.

She is always joyful when our team visits—bringing food, help around her home, stories, and a listening ear. Our team remains dedicated to caring for both Yudes and her home, ensuring she is never alone.

Meet Keredonia

Born: 1943 | Age: 82

Keredonia has lived a life marked by resilience and hardship. Born with poor eyesight, she navigated life with strength and determination. Alongside her late husband, she built a home of their own, though they were unable to have children.

After her husband’s passing, Keredonia’s life became increasingly difficult. Now an 82-year-old widow with no family support, she faces profound loneliness and ongoing hardship. Her needs include:

  • Food

  • Deworming medication

  • Bedding

  • Medical care

Without support, her situation is dire. Keredonia’s story reflects the reality many elderly individuals face and reminds us why your compassion and generosity are so critical.

Students on Holiday — Still Giving Back

Although students are currently on school holiday, many continue to visit the guest house to help tend crops grown specifically for our elderly program. They are also learning how to grow spices and more challenging vegetables inside our greenhouse.

Greenhouse Highlights: Potatoes in Boxes

The greenhouse continues to spark excitement—especially our potatoes grown in cardboard boxes!

For the students, planting and harvesting food from a simple box is eye-opening. It teaches an important lesson:

You don’t need large plots of land to grow food and support your family.

Computer Training Still Thriving

Even during the school break, our computer training program is moving forward.

Gard continues to shine as a computer instructor, and his student is eager and excited each time she masters a new skill. Our goal is to equip her with the knowledge and confidence needed to secure a decent job or career after graduation—creating long-term impact for her and her family.

Thank You for Making This Possible

Your support, prayers, and love make all of this work possible—from caring for our elderly, to empowering youth, to growing food sustainably.

Thank you for walking with us through 2025.We look forward to an incredible 2026 together.

With gratitude, The Angel Projects Team
