Welcome to The Angel Projects of America, God's Healing Wings, our mission is to provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support for at-risk women and offering spiritual guidance and counseling as well as through connecting women with services that will provide for their physical needs as well as those of their children.

OUR STORY
The Angel Projects of America is a Christian 501(c)3 non-profit organization
The purpose of The Angel Projects is to serve at-risk women by acting as a bridge for women (and their children) who are in need
The Angel Projects will work with other local non-profits and organizations, both foreign and domestic, to provide these women with shelter, food, clothing, education, job training, childcare, life coaching, and spiritual guidance.

WHO WE ARE
SUSAN
Susan is an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor at St. Augustine College, College of DuPage, and BIR Training Center, all in Chicagoland.
Susan graduated from Northern Illinois University with an M.A. in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in 2007, and she holds a B.A. in anthropology and Spanish, also from Northern Illinois University. Susan is an active participant at Calvary Church in Naperville, IL, where she serves as a leader in the senior high youth group.
She has been involved in missions since she was 17 years old, and she has been teaching ESL on a volunteer basis since early in her college career. Susan has spent time living, studying, and teaching abroad, and she currently serves as The Angel Projects’ stateside administrator and as a board member for the Bernasol Educational Foundation.
Susan feels blessed to be involved with missions and volunteer work in the nation of Haiti, a place which has fully captured her heart.
OLIVIA
For 15 years, Olivia worked for Southern Wine & Spirits with inVision Marketing Solutions, where she was the Group Service Manager. This position included social media, graphic design, photography, videography, and programming.
Olivia studied graphic design & advertising at College of DuPage and continued her education at Olivet Nazarene University, graduating magna cum laude in business administration in 2008. Olivia has volunteered at Calvary Church in Naperville, IL, for the past 8 years as a staff photographer, attending and recording events and special services.
She went on her first mission trip with Calvary Church in 2011 to Kenya and has dedicated her life to full-time humanitarian mission work, both abroad and stateside. She has worked in South Africa and Uganda teaching English to children as well as women who had to leave school early due to poverty or family illnesses.
Olivia created projects in Uganda in the villages of Kashji and Rushaga for women which will enable sustainable income; jewelry making and sponsoring a local farm where the women are able to maintain and grow cabbages which they are able to sell at the local market. Olivia has also traveled to Cambodia and Haiti working with women and children empowerment programs to create sustainable projects.
NADEGE
Originally from Haiti but raised in the United States.
While living in Haiti, Nadege helped plant a church for young adults and started TAP’s youth program called Club 50, and she counseled 20 women in the Jacmel prison and oversaw the women’s ministry.
Nadege has a passion for both women and children, and she hopes that the work she did in her native country will have a lasting impact on its communities and future generations.
